Pool report No. 3- Commander-in-Chief trophy presentation
Linda Feldmann • Christian Science Monitor
May 2, 2017: 12:22 PM

Under sunny skies, POTUS walked into the Rose Garden at 11:52 am for presentation of Commander-in-Chief trophy to the US Air Force Academy football team.

Brass musicians from the President's Own Marine band heralded his arrival with "Hail to the Chief."

Event was live-streamed at whitehouse.gov -- and included presentation to POTUS of an Air Force football jersey that said "Trump 1."

POTUS, dressed in navy suit and blue striped tie, left the Rose Garden at 12:14, and walked into the Oval Office, flashing a thumbs up on his way in.

Air Force jazz combo -- string bass, guitar, drums, keyboard -- played as the crowd mingled.
