Thirty-one minutes after taking off from Andrews, Air Force One landed at Harrisburg International Airport.
Flight was not only brief but uneventful. Weather is cooler and less muggy than DC.
Air Force One taxied to a stop, within sight of the cooling towers of Three Mile Island, downriver from the airport.
Air Force Two was parked nearby. Vice President Pence and his wife Karen boarded Air Force One after it rolled to a stop. They will attend the rally, a WH official said.
At 610, POTUS disembarked, followed by VP and Mrs. Pence. He and the VP greeted a rope line of mostly military families. A couple of people in the back held up placards that said "Trump Digs Coal." Chants of "Trump! Trump! Trump!" broke out.
Color note: Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and his wife wandered briefly into the press scrum waiting under the wing of AF 1, before being escorted to a staff van.
Among the greeters at the bottom of the stairs: Senator Pat Toomey.
Motorcade is rolling for the Ames Companies at 617.
