Foreign pool report 2 - Potus with President Macri in the Cabinet Room
Miriam Burgues • Efe News Services
April 27, 2017: 12:44 PM

Potus and Macri were seated with their teams in the Cabinet Room for the working lunch.

Potus spoke again about Nafta, after his quotes from Oval office about he will "terminate" that deal if the renegotiation is not successful for US, as he has told via Twitter in the morning.

Asked in the Cabinet Room if he has any deadline to start the renegotiation, Potus said: "It'll start very soon" and then added that is starting "today".

Whit regard to Argentina, Potus spoke about his "great, great friend" Macri and repeated that they known each other "for many, many years".

Macri "is doing a fantastic job in Argentina, we are watching it very, very closely". He is "implementing political and economic reforms".

Macri is hosting the G20 summit next year and Potus anticipated that he will attend.

Then Potus announced the creation of a "bilateral cyber working group" to "protect the security and economic interests of both countries".

Macri spoke later, in Spanish, about the "inexplicable disagreements in time and history" between the two countries and said that now it's time to move on.

Macri said "it's a wonderful moment" to strength bilateral ties and added that Argentina is back in the global scenery to bring a "humble" contribution to try to solve global challenges.

Besides, Macri spoke too about he and Potus are old friends and noted the "very hard golf challenges" they had in the past.
