Travel Pool 5: Departing Mar a Lago
Michael Memoli • Los Angeles Times
February 5, 2017: 06:42 PM

At 6:06 pm POTUS' motorcade departed Mar-a-Lago bound again for the Trump International Golf Club, where he will attend a Super Bowl watch party in what we are told is a long time tradition.

Notably, the presidential seal and flags were on POTUS' SUV, signifying an official movement unlike his other outings here so far. Vehicles all have lights flashing as we drive just after sunset here.

Sizable crowds have lined the road just across the drawbridge to salute the motorcade or at least take a photo.

Prior to departure pool vans were staged on the grounds of Mar-a-Lago and we watched as the sun began setting opposite the estate.
