VPOTUS pool 1 - business round table
Andrew Beatty • Agence France-Presse
April 18, 2017: 08:33 AM

At 8:24 your pool was led into a ballroom at the Seoul Hyatt, where the Vice President is meeting business leaders.

He greeted the participants, including representatives from Ford, Visa, Boeing, United Airlines, Oracle, Pfizer, Citi, Chevron and 3M. The US charge d'affaires Marc Knapper was also at the table.

There were opening remarks from the President/CEO of GM Korea James Kim, who is also head of Amcham South Korea.

Kim said business was ready and willing to help Donald Trump's "America first" agenda. He also said a good word for KORUS, the five year old US-Korea trade agreement, which he said was not perfect but worked.

Your pool was led out as the floor was turned over to other participants. We are holding.
